World Premiere: Hyundai Presents Its Biggest EV Yet at the Brussels Motor Show

From Hyundai Press Release

Continuing its commitment to electrification, Hyundai will launch new EVs in 2026, starting at the Brussels Motor Show (9 to 18 January) with the world premiere of its biggest EV yet. The new model will showcase state-of-the-art electric technology, including an advanced 800-volt charging system.

“The Brussels Motor Show continues to be an important platform for us to highlight how our electric products and technologies are evolving for European customers,” said Raf Van Nuffel, Vice President of Product at Hyundai Motor Europe. “As the region accelerates its transition to zero-emission mobility, events like this allow us to showcase not only new models, but also the innovations that will shape the next generation of Hyundai vehicles. As one of Europe’s leading mobility innovators, Hyundai welcomes the event’s strong focus on electrification, which reflects the technological progress and customer expectations shaping the future of sustainable transportation across the region.”

What will Hyundai present at the Brussels Motor Show?
Hyundai will celebrate the world premiere of a new EV model that supplements the brand’s existing lineup from INSTER to IONIQ 9. In addition, the updated IONIQ 6 will make its first European motor show appearance, showcasing refinements to its aerodynamic design as well as upgrades to its interior technology and digital features.

Beyond the premieres, Hyundai’s presence will also include a dedicated N Zone, where visitors can experience IONIQ 5 N and IONIQ 6 N, as well as an interactive arcade gaming corner built around INSTEROID. INSTEROID is a boundary-pushing design concept based on the INSTER EV, blending video game-inspired aesthetics with bold, sporty styling to explore new ideas in automotive design and showcase Hyundai’s creative approach beyond production models.
